Greetings from our article on Blue Flag Beaches and Antalya Beaches. In this series, we will be introducing Blue Flag beaches across Turkey. Our first stop is, of course, Antalya Beaches — more specifically, the stunning Antalya Plajları.
In fact, nearly every second location you encounter here proudly holds a Blue Flag. To share some numbers: there are 200 Blue Flag beaches, 5 Blue Flag marinas, and 5 Blue Flag yachts in total. These impressive statistics place Antalya firmly in the number one spot.
That’s exactly why we’ve chosen to dedicate our very first article to Antalya Plajları. Next, let’s take a look at the answer to the question: What is a Blue Flag?
1.Kundu Beach

Kundu Beach is located in the Aksu district of Antalya. This beach is mostly used by large hotels and is maintained with great care. Located in Manavgat, Ilıca Beach is home to 6 hotels, yet also offers a public beach that you can comfortably enjoy. Surrounded by fine golden sand and blessed with a gorgeous shade of turquoise, it’s one of the most ideal beaches for swimming. Beach Features:
- Sand: The 3 km-long and 50-meter-wide beach is made up of fine golden sand

- Facilities: Includes showers, toilets, and changing cabins
- Water Sports: Activities include jet skiing, banana boat rides, and water skiing

22.Kızılağaç Plajı

This beach is located within the Manavgat district. If you’re someone who doesn’t enjoy crowds, it’s best to stay away from this spot. A total of 14 hotels share the beach, and with the addition of a public beach, you can imagine how crowded it can get. Just like most beaches in the Manavgat region, this one also features fine golden sand.

25.Belek Beach

Now it’s time to move on from Manavgat and head toward the Serik region. The Belek Tourist Zone, located in the Serik district, is an exceptionally beautiful and high-quality beach. The fact that nearly 26–27 hotels share this coastline speaks volumes. It’s one of the rare beaches where development has been done aesthetically, without harming nature—in fact, enhancing it. Its fine sand and deep blue waters are truly breathtaking.

Another Blue Flag beach in the beautiful Serik district is Boğazkent Beach. While it boasts fine golden sand and turquoise waters, the greenery is mostly limited to hotel gardens, and the area is not as well-maintained as others. Despite its natural beauty, it still falls short of reaching its full potential. There is also one public beach, and 14 hotels are located along the shore.
