About Gelidonya Lighthouse
Perched above Antalya’s stunning panorama, Gelidonya Lighthouse is a key stop on the Lycian Way. It offers visitors an unparalleled view at one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful points.
Known as “Hiera Akra” in ancient times, Gelidonya Lighthouse has guided mariners throughout history. On Piri Reis’s maps, it was referred to as “Cape Silden.”
The lighthouse stands on rocky cliffs 3 kilometers off the coast. A popular destination for both domestic and international tourists, it is maintained and protected by the General Directorate of Security.
How to Get to Gelidonya Lighthouse
Gelidonya Lighthouse is located in the Kumluca district of Antalya on the Lycian Way. It lies 103 km from Antalya city center, 64 km from Kemer, and 19 km from Adrasan Bay.
